Welcome to a safe, compassionate space
where you can reclaim your peace and well-being.

Why Therapy?
The ultimate goal of therapy is to help you live a wholehearted life, rooted in the deepest ground of your being.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by a life crisis, profound loss, or major life change? You might be struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, chronic pain, or questions about your life’s direction. When facing these challenges, therapy can offer a path forward, providing the support you need to heal and grow.
My commitment is to create a warm, compassionate space where you feel fully seen and understood. With a client-centered, non-judgmental approach, I prioritize your unique needs and experiences.
Drawing from a blend of therapeutic methods—including mindfulness techniques, strengths-based therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), positive psychology, meditation, and stress-management tools—I work with a trauma-sensitive focus to help you build resilience and clarity.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy offers a unique opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences to understand how they shape your present choices and relationships.
In our sessions, you’ll be invited to share your life story—your struggles, concerns, and aspirations. I’ll be there to listen deeply and compassionately, helping you uncover insights into old patterns and discover new ways of connecting and living.
Psychotherapy creates a safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful space to rediscover your inner wisdom and tap into personal strengths, guiding you toward a more authentic, fulfilling life.
I integrate a variety of approaches, including mindfulness practices, strengths-based assessments, guided imagery, meditation, and stress-management tools, always with a trauma-sensitive approach.

Mindful Forest Walks
Mindful Forest Walks: Experience Nature’s Healing Power
Forest walks provide a unique opportunity to step back from the demands of everyday life, reset, and reconnect with nature. Guided forest walks help you access nature’s natural healing benefits, offering a gentle yet profound way to release stress and re-center.
By slowing down and tuning into your surroundings, mindful forest walks allow you to ground yourself, find balance, and connect with your inner wisdom. Studies on "forest bathing" show that time in nature can enhance sleep quality, reduce blood pressure, boost energy, improve mood, strengthen the immune system, and promote overall healing. In essence, these walks offer lasting benefits for the body, mind, and heart.
I’ve completed teacher training with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto and offer mindful forest walks for individuals and groups year-round. No matter the season, these experiences offer an opportunity to connect with “forest medicine” and discover the healing potential of the natural world.

Energy Therapy
Energy Healing: Reconnecting with Balance and Wellbeing
As a graduate and former faculty member of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, I’m trained to work with the human energy field, which influences physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Energy healing taps into your body’s natural capacity to restore balance, enhancing emotional resilience, physical vitality, and spiritual connection.
In a session, I work with the body’s energy field by placing my hands on or above specific areas, such as the chakras, that may need support. Using specialized techniques, I help dissolve energy blocks and restore balance, allowing for greater harmony and flow.
Energy healing can offer relief from stress, emotional challenges, physical discomfort, and spiritual distress. It can also help process trauma, replenish energy reserves, and foster resilience. Through this work, you may feel more grounded, connected to your inner self, and in touch with your unique strengths and desires.

Grief Therapy
Grief Counseling: Finding Support Through Loss
Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a career, or the lifestyle changes associated with illness or caregiving, adjusting to loss can feel overwhelming and disorienting.
While grief is a natural and essential part of healing, it often brings intense, complex emotions that can be hard to navigate alone. A grief counselor provides compassionate support, helping you understand what to expect and offering a safe space where you can find stability and grounding.
In our work together, you’re welcome to share memories, reflect on how grief has affected your life, and explore how your relationships, identity, and future aspirations may have shifted. By discussing your unique experiences, we can make sense of your feelings, develop practical coping strategies, and foster resilience.
Grief counseling ultimately supports you in integrating the loss, reconnecting with what’s meaningful, and finding new purpose as you move forward.
How I Work with Clients
My goal is to empower you to thrive in life, offering a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can gain insight, develop new skills, and make meaningful changes.
My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed. With empathy and compassion, I honor each person's unique strengths and innate wisdom, recognizing that these qualities are sometimes hidden beneath life’s challenges. Through deep listening, encouragement, and support, I help you gain clarity on your current situation, foster self-acceptance, and become aware of patterns that may be holding you back.
Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a personalized plan to work toward them. Whether you’re seeking short-term support or a longer journey of self-discovery, our work will be tailored to meet your needs and aspirations.

My Background
My priority is to understand your goals and adapt tools and strategies to support you. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, focusing on helping you access both inner and outer resources to meet life’s challenges. I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space and offer deep listening so you feel empowered to gain insight, break unhelpful patterns, and bring more of your true self into the world.
I am a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and have over 25 years of experience in private practice as a psychotherapist and energy healer.
Read on for a brief summary of my training and career path:
I began my career after graduating from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) in 1993, where I learned to work with the human energy field and understand how early life challenges influence physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.
In 2008, I earned a Master of Divinity from the University of Toronto, followed by additional training through the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care. For a decade, I served as a Spiritual Care Practitioner in various hospital settings, offering support in times of crisis and transition.
Since 2015, I’ve specialized in grief counseling, helping clients move forward after significant loss. I also completed teacher training with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto, enabling me to lead healing and meditation retreats for those seeking to deepen their healing and spiritual practices.

Getting Started
Whether you are a first-time therapy client, or have worked with a therapist before, I recommend we check-in first with each other with a telephone call.
I offer an initial 20-minute free telephone consultation, during which you can outline your key concerns, hopes, and goals for therapy. I will also answer any questions you have about my approach, and you can decide whether you are ready to schedule an appointment.
Occasionally, a client’s goals are outside the scope of my practice -- In those cases, I refer clients to other practitioners who have the particular expertise they need.
